Requirements

10 Years of development and app modernization experience Experience in hosting and configuring the applications on IISApache Tomcat Experience in modernization including upgrade of Applications to Azure PaaS platform along with migration experience Expertise in application hosting configuration optimization in various Azure PaaS services Azure App service Azure Functions Aure Kubernetes Service Azure Container Apps Azure Container Instance Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to find alternate ways to reach the goals Ability to understand application architecture dependencies and integrations Should have led and managed the team with the size more than 5 members Should be able to guide the team technically Very good understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways Primary skills

  • Hands on web application development skills
  • Hands on experience in developing and hosting web applications on Azure PaaS platform
  • Primary database skills like database connectivity configurations application build and deployment etc
  • Ability to analyze application dependencies
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architect Data Platform DevOpsIaC and Integration Teams to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices
  • Well versed with containerizing web application frontend and web services
  • Should know the nittygritties of hosting containerized application on Kubernetes
  • Application performance assessment pre and post migration
  • Ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy stakeholder management as well as the actual solution covering business application and Infrastructure as well as commercial aspects in terms of value for money and not commercial costing etc
  • Understanding customer Infra landscape and security Design Azure App Landing Zone and provide the Azure target state solution architecture
  • Troubleshooting experience with Azure PaaS platform
  • Understanding monitoring capabilities like Log Analytics and App Insights against the PaaS Services
  • Ability to adapt to Agentic AI and integrate it in the code modernization
  • Secondary Skills
  • Work with Internal stakeholders Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly
  • Basic understanding of containerization and AKS service
