Job description

The Enterprise Data Integrations Specialist role is a critical role within Enterprise Data Sciences & Analytics team, reporting to the Enterprise Data Integrations Lead. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing projects related to data integrations between internal Catalent systems, with external partner systems, and between Catalent and customer systems for Digital Collaborations that are of high quality, optimal performance, and create value for Catalent and customers.

The Morrisville (MSV) facility is a major site for Catalent's Inhalation business, with end-to-end development through commercial manufacturing services for nasal products. It also offers full scale product development services for pulmonary delivery including dry powder inhalation (DPI) and nebulized products and clinical-scale manufacturing for DPIs including state of the art equipment such a Procept Spray Drier, GEA blenders and a Harro Hofliger drum lab.

The Role:

  • Perform discovery to identify key systems in scope for data integration
  • Identify optimal sourcing and integration strategy ensuring clarity of data requirements
  • Provide guidance and best practices on data sourcing for the creation of sustainable integrations and methods utilizing Catalent standard Data Ingestion technologies and architectural principles
  • Deploy and maintain standards and solution blueprints across a range of integration techniques and technologies
  • Work with source system owners to understand data location, availability, volatility, and structure for data mapping
  • Ensure delivery of data integration artifacts and documentation to adequately support operational cutover, data quality improvements, and analytics-ready data science exploration
  • Deliver effective on-boarding of new data sources into the appropriate data layers and data stores within Catalent's North Star Data Estate
  • Contribute to design decisions on data models, data acquisitions, data retention policies and the data life cycle policies
  • Up to 5% travel expectations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field required; Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum five years of proven data integration delivery experience designing and leading Cloud-to-Cloud and On-Prem-to-Cloud Data Integration projects with in-depth knowledge in core data integration practice
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory and Informatica Intelligence Cloud Services (IICS) is required
  • Life Sciences industry experience, required
  • Experience with GxP processes, required
  • Experience leading digital collaboration projects between trading partners via industry exchanges/networks, such as SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration Network, TraceLink, E2Open, OneNetwork, etc. is highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of Data Integration practices, technologies, and tools
  • Proven experience in establishing and operationalizing Data Integration practices in a global organization
  • Strong knowledge of Integration Platform as a Service (iPaas) and Application Program Interfaces (APIs)
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
