  • Administer and support enterprise servers, network devices, desktop computers, printers, and phone systems.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Apply security patches, updates, and service packs to servers, endpoints, and applications as required.
  • Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to server hardware, endpoint devices (Windows, Android, and other common platforms), and network systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve Windows server and desktop system issues.
  • Perform operational support and maintenance across Microsoft Server environments and related infrastructure, including virtualization, backup, and security platforms.
  • Support the installation and deployment of new hardware, automation systems, and application software.
  • Assist with technical planning for new systems and infrastructure, including architecture design and lifecycle planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to system configurations, issue resolution, inventories, and cabling.
  • Troubleshoot and repair networked and standalone systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned., * Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across all systems.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot RAID controllers to ensure data integrity and system resilience.
  • Design and implement system architecture solutions aligned with service-oriented architecture principles to support scalable enterprise applications.
  • Oversee system administration tasks including user account management, security policies, and system updates in accordance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine IT infrastructure strategies utilizing VMware, ESXi, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
  • Implement load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and other network security measures to safeguard data and maintain seamless connectivity.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, or Shell Scripting to improve efficiency.
  • Support database management activities involving Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
  • Contribute to solution architecture discussions for microservices deployment using RESTful APIs and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Git.
  • Ensure compliance with information security standards by managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols while maintaining system integrity.

Requirements

  • Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), and Microsoft Azure/Entra.
  • Strong skills in AI such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, agents, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN, wireless, voice, and endpoint devices (PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile devices).
  • Experience implementing, securing, and supporting WiFi networks.
  • Familiarity with scripting or development technologies such as ASP, .NET, VBScript, JavaScript, TSQL, PowerShell, or Power Fx.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to participate in afterhours work, including occasional nights, weekends, and 24/7 oncall rotation.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to remain effective in highpressure or timesensitive situations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, timemanagement, and analytical skills in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with Nutanix or other clustered / hyperconverged environments.

Experience with Barracuda/Sophos security products.

Familiarity with Ubiquiti networking equipment and Mitel phone systems.

Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.

Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and lowcode automation platforms.

Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)., Bachelor s degree (BA/BS) with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.

MCSE certification preferred or equivalent practical experience.., * Extensive experience with Windows operating systems and UNIX/Linux environments for comprehensive system administration.

  • Strong knowledge of system design principles including virtualization (VMware ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Shell Scripting for automation purposes.
  • Familiarity with RAID controllers for data redundancy and performance optimization in server setups.
  • Deep understanding of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, load balancing solutions, firewalls, and computer networking protocols.
  • Experience working within service-oriented architecture (SOA) frameworks to develop scalable solutions using RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle along with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices related to information security management across diverse IT environments.
  • Experience implementing DevOps methodologies utilizing tools like Jenkins or Git for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with solution architecture design for microservices-based applications leveraging REST APIs and containerization technologies.
