Job description

We are looking for a System Administrator to be responsible for VMware vSphere installation, configuration, and management. This position will be full-time and fully remote for candidates residing in Florida.

What You'll Do

  • VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter Server) - installation, configuration, and management
  • SAN and traditional storage management
  • Virtual machine provisioning, templates, and lifecycle management
  • Performance monitoring and capacity planning
  • Storage: SAN/NAS technologies (Dell EMC, Pure Storage, etc.)
  • Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, load balancing (F5)
  • Backup/Recovery: Veeam
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux administration

  • Experience with monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of security best practices and hardening procedures
  • Patch management and upgrade planning experience
  • Documentation skills for procedures and infrastructure diagrams
  • Technical Skills - Core VMware
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Ansible experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

Benefits & conditions

$60,000 - $66,0000 per year

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
