Java Developer

• Design system architecture components using best practices such as design patterns and scalable system principles
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements, participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Implement microservices architecture on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure to enhance system scalability and resilience
• Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom APIs for internal use, ensuring secure data exchange via RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
• Utilize version control tools such as GitHub or SVN for code management, along with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Optimize application performance by applying best practices in application development, system design, and scalability techniques
• Contribute to front-end development efforts using JavaScript frameworks like React or Express for full-stack project delivery
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, API specifications, and development processes

• Proven software engineering experience with a strong focus on Java development in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience designing scalable systems using microservices architecture and RESTful API standards
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of web development technologies such as JavaScript, React, Express.js, along with proficiency in SQL databases like MySQL or SQL Server
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
• Strong understanding of version control systems such as GitHub or SVN and CI/CD tools for automated deployment pipelines
• Background in application development across multiple programming languages including C#, Python, C++, VBA or C is a plus
• Exposure to system security concepts like RBAC and best practices for scalable, secure API integrations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, QA engineers, and system architects
