Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of relevant work experience OR 5+ years of relevant work experience with a MS in Computer Science or related technical field. \n \n

  • At least one frontend specialisation in any of the following: building native apps (Kotlin, Swift) or web apps using React (JavaScript or TypeScript) or hybrid apps using React Native, * Experience building or contributing to an advanced shared library, design system, or SDK

  • You work to resolve the root cause of complex problems, leaving software better and easier to maintain than when you found it \n \n

  • You are able to train new team-mates on how your team's software is constructed, how it operates, how secure it is, and how it fits into the bigger picture \n \n

  • Your influence extends beyond the team at and org level \n \n

  • You foster a constructive dialogue and seek resolutions in a professional way \n \n

  • You help recruit and interview for your team \n \n

  • You estimate stories/tasks accurately and deliver them in time \n \n

  • You mentor and help to develop others \n \n

  • On-call rotation where required. You provide excellent customer support \n \n

  • You keep yourself up to date with market standards, open-source frameworks \n \n

  • You build and evolve components that support real-time quoting and decisioning with careful attention to latency, throughput, and correctness \n \n

  • You implement and maintain risk controls and guardrails (e.g., exposure checks, limits, throttling/filters, kill switch patterns) \n \n

  • You ensure high-quality decision logging so strategies can be debugged, replayed, and improved using real quote/fill outcomes \n \n

  • You partner with quants and stakeholders to define and monitor key metrics (e.g., quote ratio, win rate, expected vs realized margin, exposure/capital utilization) \n \n
