Job description

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Engineer to join our growing team. We are seeking a Lead Mobile Engineer with deep expertise in iOS development and strong working knowledge of Android to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on in the design, development, and delivery of AI-enabled mobile applications.

This role combines technical leadership, solution design, and mentorship while partnering closely with Product, Design, Backend, Data, and AI teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building secure, scalable, and intuitive mobile experiences and is excited to apply AI/ML capabilities such as personalization, intelligent automation, and predictive insights within mobile products., * Provide day-to-day technical leadership for the mobile engineering team while remaining actively involved in software development and code reviews.

  • Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and UIKit, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
  • Contribute to Android development efforts and help maintain cross-platform consistency using Kotlin and Android architecture components.
  • Implement on-device and cloud-based AI/ML capabilities using modern mobile and backend frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, QA, Data, and AI teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
  • Promote engineering best practices, reusable components, and coding standards within the mobile team.
  • Drive continuous improvements to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application performance, crash analytics, and monitoring.
  • Implement and support observability solutions using Firebase, Datadog, Xcode Instruments, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics.
  • Mentor and support mobile engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead feature delivery from technical design through deployment while contributing production-quality code.
  • Assist with technical design reviews and solution planning for new mobile capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Operate in an AI-driven SDLC environment utilizing GitHub Copilot, Xcode AI integrations, and other AI-assisted development tools.
  • Support production issues, application releases, and ongoing operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of mobile application development experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and UIKit.
  • Working knowledge of Kotlin and Android architecture components.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Fastlane, Firebase, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Experience deploying applications through the Apple App Store, TestFlight, Google Play, and internal testing tracks.
  • Experience building cloud-connected mobile applications using Azure or AWS.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth2 authentication, and mobile security best practices.
  • Experience implementing accessibility standards including WCAG and inclusive mobile design principles.
  • Experience implementing Datadog dashboards, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, monitoring, and alerting for mobile applications.
  • Experience with automated testing, unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Xcode, Android Studio, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
  • Strong understanding of mobile analytics, crash reporting, and application performance optimization.
  • Experience working within Agile development teams utilizing AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Strong project organization skills including feature estimation, sprint planning, and technical delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., * Experience developing fintech or consumer-facing mobile applications.
  • Experience with mobile payments, identity verification, push notification platforms, or similar consumer technologies.
  • Experience integrating AI or machine learning features into mobile applications.
  • Contributions to open-source mobile libraries or published technical content are a plus.
