Job description
- The Cloud Engineering team is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Terraform / Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, security, automation, and production support.
- This person will help design, deploy, secure, and maintain cloud-based solutions that support critical utility operations.
- The role will collaborate across infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, data, and operational technology (OT) teams while supporting highly available, reliable, secure, and compliant hybrid cloud environments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive cloud engineering experience in enterprise environments
- 1-2 days a week onsite is mandatory
- Strong hands-on AWS experience: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, EKS, CloudWatch
- Hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience: OCI Compute, Networking, Object Storage, IAM, OKE, OCI Monitoring
- Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience; Terraform is strongly preferred
- Cloud networking and hybrid connectivity experience: VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, FastConnect, load balancers, and DNS
- CI/CD and DevOps experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Ansible, or similar
- Cloud security experience including IAM, RBAC, least privilege, encryption, secrets management, WAF, security groups, and NACLs
- Experience supporting production systems, monitoring, incident response, RCA, patching, disaster recovery, and high availability environments
- Linux and Windows server administration experience
- Regulated industry experience preferred, especially utilities, energy, critical infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, or government
- NERC CIP, SOX, PCI-DSS, or similar compliance experience is a plus., * Cloud Engineering: 5 years (Required)
