Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated ETL & Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, evolution, and modernization of our enterprise data and analytics ecosystem. This role will serve as the strategic technical lead for data integration, cloud architecture, and analytics platforms, helping drive our transition from on-premises environments to modern cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong business engagement skills with deep expertise in ETL architectures, cloud platforms, data modeling, and analytics solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to define roadmap strategies, gather requirements, architect solutions, and guide implementation efforts across Incorta, Databricks, Azure, ERP systems, and enterprise applications. While experience with Incorta is highly desirable, candidates with strong experience in comparable ETL and data integration platforms will be considered.
Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate business requirements into scalable solution architectures. Develop long-term data platform strategies that align with organizational goals and cloud modernization initiatives. Provide technical leadership and direction for data architecture, integration, analytics, and reporting solutions. Evaluate current-state on-premises and cloud environments and develop modernization roadmaps. Drive architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, security, and business value.
Data Integration & ETL Leadership
Architect and oversee enterprise ETL and ELT solutions using Incorta, Databricks, Azure services, and related technologies. Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, and reporting architectures across multiple source systems. Lead initiatives that integrate ERP, HCM, CRM, GTM, and other enterprise platforms into centralized analytics environments. Design solutions supporting batch, incremental, and near real-time data processing. Define and maintain enterprise data models, semantic layers, and analytics frameworks. Provide architecture guidance for Incorta implementations, including:
Physical schemas Business schemas Data modeling Security Performance tuning Governance
Business Partnership & Project Leadership
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders. Translate business needs into technical designs, project plans, implementation roadmaps, and actionable development tasks. Coordinate across multiple technical teams to ensure successful project execution. Track project progress, identify risks, and provide status updates to leadership. Support new enterprise data initiatives and source system integrations.
Cloud & Platform Architecture
Design and implement enterprise solutions leveraging:
Azure Cloud Services Databricks Incorta REST APIs Enterprise applications Hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
Develop integration patterns utilizing APIs, messaging platforms, and cloud-native services. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and DevOps teams to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 5-10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, ETL Development, Cloud Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Analytics environments. Strong experience with data ingestion, ETL, or ELT platforms. Incorta experience is strongly preferred, but candidates with comparable enterprise ETL tools (Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Matillion, SSIS, Fivetran, Dell Boomi, SnapLogic, etc.) will be considered. Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data integration solutions and data pipelines. Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical architecture, project plans, and implementation roadmaps. Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and schema design. Hands-on experience with Databricks and advanced SQL development. Experience working within Azure cloud environments and modern data platforms. Experience integrating data from ERP, HCM, CRM, and other enterprise systems. Knowledge of REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise integration patterns. Experience supporting CI/CD processes, release management, and DevOps practices.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Incorta Architecture, Administration, or Development experience. Oracle Fusion, Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM, or Oracle Cloud data experience. Experience supporting on-premises to cloud modernization and migration initiatives. Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, or other enterprise BI/reporting platforms. Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or related Azure analytics services. Databricks certifications and experience with enterprise lakehouse architectures. Experience working with Jira, ServiceNow, change management processes, and enterprise governance frameworks.
