Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer with 4 6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Angular, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Docker, and Kafka, along with mandatory experience in Unemployment Insurance (UI) systems. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment., Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Angular and Java/Spring Boot. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and implement microservices-based architectures. Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular. Utilize Hibernate and JPA for efficient data access and persistence management. Design, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker. Implement and support Apache Kafka for event-driven and messaging solutions. Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, Architects, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimations, and design discussions. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, reliability, and security. Develop unit tests and support integration and system testing activities. Required Technical Skills Front-End Angular (Latest Versions Preferred) TypeScript JavaScript HTML5 Back-End Java 8/11/17 Spring Framework Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security REST API Development Microservices Architecture Database & ORM Hibernate JPA SQL Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server Messaging & Integration Apache Kafka Event-Driven Architecture Asynchronous Processing Containerization & DevOps Docker Kubernetes (Preferred) Git/GitHub/GitLab Maven/Gradle CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Domain Experience (Mandatory) Minimum 2 3 years of experience working on Unemployment Insurance (UI) applications is required. Experience supporting State Workforce Agencies, Labor Departments, or Government Benefits Systems. Strong understanding of: Unemployment Claims Processing Benefits Administration Employer Services Appeals Management Tax and Wage Reporting Federal and State UI Programs Experience in modernization, maintenance, or enhancement of Unemployment Insurance systems is highly preferred. Prior experience with the UInteract platform or similar UI systems is a strong advantage.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 4 6 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Java development. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills AWS Cloud experience (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch). Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. Experience implementing secure coding and application security best practices.
