Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs for identity and access management.
  • Implement authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and MFA.
  • Contribute to secure coding practices, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Build and support distributed systems in cloud or hybrid environments with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Requirements

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic Authentication and Authorization team supporting a major financial services client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core Java, API development, and identity and access management and a proven ability to design, build, and enhance secure authentication and authorization services at enterprise scale., * 3-6 years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.

  • Strong hands-on proficiency in Core Java and experience with Python or similar backend languages.
  • Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems in cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Familiarity with secure coding standards, encryption basics, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git-based version control.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IAM platforms such as Ping, Okta, ForgeRock, or Azure AD.
  • Exposure to banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (e.g., OpenShift) and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • Hybrid schedule. Minimum 3 days onsite each week. Onsite from day 1 in Addison, TX.
