Job description

This role is responsible for proactive systems administration, infrastructure project work, and remote and on-site client support. The technician will serve as an escalation resource, help maintain stable and secure client environments, and contribute to continuous improvement across operations and service delivery.

What You'll Do

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple client environments

· Support both Windows and Mac environments

· Administer and support Microsoft 365

· Set up and support networks, firewalls, switches, and connectivity

· Diagnose and resolve server-related issues

· Act as an escalation point for more complex technical challenges

· Provide guidance to junior technicians helping elevate team performance and consistency

· Help define and improve processes, documentation, and service delivery as the organization grows

· Work directly with clients to provide clear updates, recommendations, and solutions

· Participate in onsite client visits as needed

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related degree preferred

· 5+ years' experience supporting Windows and Mac environments

· Hands-on experience setting up and supporting networks (firewalls, switches, VPNs)

· Experience troubleshooting server and infrastructure issues

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration

· Prior experience working in an MSP environment strongly preferred

· Ability to work independently and problem solve without constant direction

· Comfortable interacting directly with clients and managing relationships

· Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

· Proactive, Process-Oriented mindset and look for ways to improve processes and service delivery

Certifications

· Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+ preferred

Mobility Requirements

· Valid driver's license required

· Reliable personal vehicle and active auto insurance required

· Ability to travel to local client sites; mileage reimbursement is provided

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for transporting equipment
