Job description

Join a team that helps solve some of the most important cost and supply chain challenges facing one of North America's largest food distributors. As a Sr Analyst, Cost Management Data you will combine analytics, forecasting, and business strategy to develop pricing strategies, identify transportation optimization opportunities, anticipate supplier behavior, and deliver insights that improve profitability across the business. You will lead high-impact analytical initiatives, partnering with teams across Transportation, Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement to turn complex data into practical business recommendations. Your work won't stop at identifying opportunities, you'll help quantify their impact and influence decisions that improve business performance. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with the KeHE Mission, Vision, and Values., + Develop analytical models and recommendations that support pricing strategy, transportation optimization, and supplier decision-making.

  • Design and supports centralized data solutions that enable scalable reporting and analytics across the Cost Management team. Build data pipelines and models to support automated reporting solutions.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
  • Develop and maintain automated Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and datasets that provide actionable business insights.
  • Analyze complex operational and financial data to identify trends, optimize business processes, and uncover opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Provide guidance and training to business users on Power BI dashboards and related reporting tools.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to solve business problems through data-driven analysis and process improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience with data extraction, manipulation, and optimization.

  • Advanced experience developing Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and data visualizations.

  • Experience with data centralization and integration in cloud environments, AWS Redshift experience preferred.

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets, including data cleansing and transformation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively to maximize supplier or customer satisfaction while achieving performance metrics. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a related analytical role. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods.

  • Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment.

  • Ability to view a computer screen for long periods.

  • Ability to move about the office occasionally to access files, equipment, or attend meetings.

  • Ability to lift up to 10-20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office files, laptop, small office equipment).
