Job description

  • Serve as Scrum Master for multiple cross-functional Agile teams, providing servant leadership and coaching to maximize team performance.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Extreme Programming (XP).
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration, transparency, and iterative learning.
  • Guide teams in Agile best practices including user stories, story mapping, ATDD, TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and information radiators.
  • Remove organizational impediments and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve blockers.
  • Promote team self-organization, accountability, and effective delivery.
  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to Agile best practices across the organization.
  • Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and Agile leaders to improve delivery processes and organizational Agile maturity.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile delivery efforts across multiple technology teams.
  • Drive Agile transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement.
  • Support collaboration between business and technology stakeholders.
  • Champion Lean-Agile principles and help teams deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience working on Agile teams, including a minimum of 2 years as a Scrum Master; OR a combined minimum of 8 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience, including at least 4 years on Agile teams and 2 years as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile practices.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience Preferred

  • Experience in multiple technology disciplines such as software development, testing, business analysis, project management, user experience, or deployment.
  • Proven ability to foster self-organizing, high-performing Agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Lean principles.
  • Experience supporting digital product development.
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Experience leading through influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
