Requirements
We are seeking architectural graduate candidates with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience, including significant experience with NYC projects. The selected candidate will take on substantial responsibility as both Project Architect and Designer across a wide range of project types, including new buildings, adaptive reuse, commercial, retail, and multi residential projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD and 3D software skills, solid design and technical abilities, a good graphic sense, and the ability to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment., * Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Structural Engineering required.
- At least 6 years of experience in a mid-size to large architecture or A&E firm preferred.
- Strong experience with NYC projects, building code, and zoning analysis.
- Ability to develop construction document sets, including façade detailing.
- Experience with both ground up construction and adaptive reuse of existing buildings.
- Experience coordinating with MEP and structural engineers.
- Ability to create design presentation renderings for a variety of commercial project types, including retail and multi residential projects.
- Strong organizational, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
