Data Product Lead - Financial Security & Data Governance

We are looking for an experienced Financial Security Data Product Lead to define and drive the strategy, governance, and delivery of a strategic data product supporting financial security, compliance, and risk management capabilities.

This senior role connects Data, Technology, Business, Risk, and Compliance, helping create trusted data solutions that enable regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making., * Own the vision, roadmap, governance, and delivery of the Financial Security Data Product.

• Translate business and regulatory needs into clear data requirements and product priorities.
• Manage product backlogs and lead Agile delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Drive data governance and Data Quality by Design practices.
• Define data quality KPIs, monitoring frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote adoption and identify new opportunities for data-driven solutions.

• 7+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Products, or Enterprise Data Management.
• Strong experience in Data Product Ownership, Business Analysis, and Agile delivery.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data quality management, SQL, and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in financial security domains such as: KYC, AML, sanctions, embargo, or regulatory compliance.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French proficiency preferred.

• Data Mesh / Data Fabric concepts
• Data Catalogues and Metadata Management
• Master Data Management
• Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Agile Product Owner, Scrum, SAFe, Data Management, or Project Management certifications are an advantage.
