Business Analyst Non Life

We are looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen a front-office product team focused on non-life insurance. You will play a key role in translating business needs into high-quality end-to-end solutions while ensuring an excellent user experience for brokers and business partners.

You will act as the link between business and IT, contributing to transformation initiatives and helping deliver intuitive, user-centric digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements within the product team
• Translate business needs, architecture principles and standards into functional and non-functional requirements
• Facilitate and participate in stakeholder workshops
• Model business processes and document requirements in a structured and unambiguous way
• Create use cases and functional documentation for business and IT teams
• Coordinate knowledge transfer between business, IT and external partners
• Ensure adherence to design standards and guidelines
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget and timeline
• Collaborate with both onsite and offshore teams

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within the insurance sector
• Experience as a Business or Functional Analyst in larger organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with a strong affinity for user experience (UX)
• Hands-on, structured and result-oriented
• Able to work independently and manage changing priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in Agile environments

Must-Have Skills

• Business analysis within an insurance environment
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements
• Strong stakeholder interaction and workshop facilitation
• Agile/Scrum experience (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Fluent Dutch and strong English communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in non-life insurance
• Experience in mobility underwriting or claims processes
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML and use case modelling
• Experience working with offshore teams
