Job description
- Test and validate the full software stack powering MiPA, from navigation and manipulation to AI-driven behaviors and human-robot interaction.
- Verify functionality across robot software releases, ensuring stability, reliability, and performance in different environments and use cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests for distributed, real-time robotic systems running on embedded and cloud-connected platforms.
- Work closely with software, robotics, AI, and system engineers to identify issues, reproduce defects, and support root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to the validation of safety-related features and help ensure compliance with product quality and reliability requirements.
- Support field testing and real-world validation of robotic capabilities in environments such as homes, care facilities, and industrial settings., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites for software, system, and integration testing.
- Define test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria for new features and software releases.
- Analyze test results, identify regressions, performance bottlenecks, and unexpected system behavior.
- Create and maintain test documentation, test reports, and traceability between requirements, test cases, and validation results.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and continuous validation workflows.
- Continuously improve testing processes, coverage, tools, and methodologies to increase quality and efficiency across the product lifecycle., * Partner with software developers, robotics engineers, AI researchers, and product teams throughout the development cycle.
- Help ensure that new features are released with high quality, reliability, and safety standards.
- Contribute to the overall stability and performance of MiPA by providing structured feedback and validation insights.
- Support a culture of quality by championing testing best practices and continuous improvement.
