Requirements

We are looking for a Junior Release Engineer to collaborate with a major banking client. Work Location & Model Hybrid (3 days in Malaga, 2 days WFH). Responsibilities - Apply agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) in project management. - Manage Git repositories and define branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based). - Configure and maintain continuous integration processes (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). - Automate tasks through scripting (Ansible, Python). - Build and deploy containers with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes/OpenShift. - Program in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, or C++. - Ensure code quality using tools such as SonarQube and apply TDD/BDD practices. - Operate Kubernetes clusters and manage networks, load balancers, and SSL certificates. - Monitor systems using tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana. Minimum Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in development environments. - Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Strong command of Git and branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based), and repository tools. - Experience with continuous integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and scripting automation (Ansible, Python). - Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). - Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, or C++. - Experience with automated testing, TDD/BDD best practices, and quality assurance (SonarQube). - Knowledge of networking, load balancers, and SSL certificates. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana. - Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar.
