Elements is growing and ambitious! As part of our exciting expansion, we just moved from Almere to Amsterdam and we're looking for a Medior Golang Developer to help us build apps millions rely on. While your primary focus is Golang, experience with Python will give you an edge., As a Backend developer, you will work with your team to make estimates and define architecture. You will spend most of your time designing and coding technical solutions. You will also build brand new applications and participate in defining the project structure. We expect you to adopt Elements' way of working and make suggestions to continuously improve it. Last but not least, we hope you bring a natural drive to stay up to date with the latest technological innovations.

You're someone who communicates clearly in Dutch and English and can easily connect with colleagues and clients alike. With a proactive mindset and an open, collaborative attitude, you thrive in team environments and enjoy finding solutions together. You're curious by nature, quick to learn new skills and genuinely enjoy the variety of working on different types of projects. Your tech skills and experience:
- Solid experience with professional programming and development of relevant projects
- 2-3 years of experience in Golang development, or (very) experienced in another backend language (such as C#, Java, or Python) with a genuine interest in making the switch to Golang
- Experience with Python is a huge plus
- Familiarity with Postgres, AWS, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki is a plus
- Aware of current CI/CD trends and able to work with them
- Experience with working in agile project teams (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent Dutch and English language and communication skills
- Creative, curious, flexible and open-minded
- Independent thinker, yet committed to company's and team's success
