Principal Engineer - Java & Azure (Architect I - Enterprise Solutions)

We are looking for a Principal Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications and services. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges, influencing architecture decisions, and building high-performing backend platforms from the ground up.

You'll work alongside talented Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver modern, resilient solutions that operate at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems using Java.
• Lead architecture and engineering decisions across cloud-native applications.
• Develop and optimize solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Drive engineering best practices, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and services.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle.

• Extensive experience in Java backend development and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Azure.
• Proven experience building complex platforms and services from scratch.
• Excellent system design, architecture, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
