- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential cyber threats across enterprise systems.
- Analyse security incidents, coordinate incident response activities, and support remediation efforts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Perform security risk assessments for infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen security controls and improve overall cyber resilience.
- Support compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and other relevant security frameworks.
- Assist with security awareness programmes and promote best practices across the organisation.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively improve security posture.
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning from a cybersecurity perspective.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing cybersecurity team. Working alongside IT, infrastructure, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in monitoring security events, responding to incidents, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security best practices. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking to advance your career within a forward-thinking organisation, we'd like to hear from you., * Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, Information Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or in a similar cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and threat detection.
- Experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR), vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and cloud security principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, or similar security technologies is advantageous.
- Understanding of security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and incident investigation skills.

Pay: £51,500.00-£62,000.00 per year
