Job description

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Lead to drive a large-scale change programme across our IT Service Operations function. This role will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of operational transformation, ensuring improved service performance, efficiency, and scalability, while embedding modern, AI-driven operational capabilities., * Lead the end-to-end transformation of IT Service Operations, from current state assessment through to steady-state optimisation

  • Define and execute a clear transformation roadmap aligned to business and technology strategy
  • Drive service model redesign, including operating model, processes, tooling, and governance
  • Oversee service migration, vendor onboarding/offboarding, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Embed best practices across ITSM (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request Management)
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across business, IT, and third-party providers, including executive-level communication

AIOps & Automation Focus

  • Bring recent, hands-on experience implementing AIOps capabilities within IT Operations
  • Identify and deploy opportunities for intelligent automation, predictive monitoring, and event correlation
  • Improve service resilience and reduce manual intervention through data-driven operations
  • Partner with engineering and platform teams to integrate AI-driven tooling into the service landscape

Requirements

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale IT Operations transformation programmes in complex environments
  • Strong experience leading operational change within in-house, outsourced, or hybrid service delivery models
  • Demonstrated success implementing AIOps or advanced automation within IT Operations
  • Deep knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and modern service management practices
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and managing commercial/service relationships
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

Benefits & conditions

The position is based in Slough. This a full-time temporary role to start as soon as possible and to run for 12 months, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive.
