As a Field Technician I, you will leverage your experience installing and maintaining various telecommunications systems to deliver best-in-class service for our clients. You are passionate about building trust, developing your technical skills, and growing within the expanding Internet of Things (IoT) market. You enjoy traveling locally while providing outstanding customer service.
This is a home-based, dispatched role. You will be supporting job assignments in a specified geographic area. This is a contract opportunity with the intent of converting to a permanent employee in a relatively short period of time.

Requirements
Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States without the need of sponsorship, either now or in the future, * 1-5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related electrical field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of technical aptitude.
- Experience working with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers

3.83.8 out of 5 stars Hampton Roads, VA Hybrid work $33 an hour - Contract, * This role requires a lot of driving. (Up to two hundred miles to get to a specific job site. Then you will typically work a job for 2 ½ to 3 hours and go to the next job. Averages are 2 to 3 jobs per day. Then you drive home.
- Most driving will be around one hour to get to the first job, then you will do two to three jobs that day, and come home.
- You will be driving your own vehicle
- We do not pay for your gas or mileage. Instead, we offer drive time. (Drive time is paid at $33 per hour. Except the first 30 minutes of your drive. This is considered a normal commute to a job. When you are done for the day and driving home, we do not pay for the last thirty minutes, as this is considered a normal commute home.
- As long as you do not turn down assignments, you will average 40+ hours of work per week., * Home-based dispatch.
- Weekend and on-call work may be required as needed.
