Job Title: PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant (CAPPS Financials, General Ledger, Commitment Control, State of Texas ERP)- 12+ yrs Exp Location: Austin, Texas (Remote) We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience providing senior-level functional consulting and production support for CAPPS Financials and PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 environments, with expertise in General Ledger (GL), Commitment Control (KK), Budgeting, and Cash Receipts (CR).
- Proven expertise configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft Financials modules, including General Ledger setup, ChartFields, Ledger Groups, Journal Generator, Allocations, Inter-Agency Accounting, Accounting Entry Templates, Combination Edit Rules, Tree Manager, Financial Reporting, PS Query, Project Costing, Budget Monitoring, Cash Receipts, and Project-to-GL reconciliation.
- Strong experience leading module configuration, production support, issue resolution, change management, functional enhancements, release management, patch implementation, UAT coordination, reporting, analytics, and cross-module integrations.
- Demonstrated experience creating and reviewing Functional Design Documents (FDDs), gathering business requirements, performing functional analysis, configuring delivered PeopleSoft features, and supporting the complete system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Extensive technical knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR, SQL, BI Publisher, SAP BusinessObjects, and PeopleSoft Security, including State of Texas multi-tenancy requirements.
- Experience planning, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise security controls aligned with State of Texas standards, NIST security guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Proven experience monitoring and managing CAPPS General Ledger batch processing, including Run My Jobs (RMJ), job scheduling, dependency management, performance tuning, failure resolution, documentation, and operational compliance.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, Fluid User Interface, Elasticsearch/Search Framework, lifecycle management, selective adoption, data migration, and compare reports.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve production issues, coordinate system enhancements, perform functional and regression testing, and manage incidents using ServiceNow and BOSSDesk.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, business stakeholders, policy personnel, managed services vendors, and more than 100 State of Texas agencies.
- Extensive experience supporting statewide ERP implementations while integrating with legacy financial systems, including USAS, TINS, SPA, and other enterprise applications.
- Experience providing structured cross-training, mentoring junior analysts, and delivering end-user training, technical guidance, and functional support.
- Proven ability to coordinate enterprise projects involving module implementations, system enhancements, fiscal year-end processing, legislative updates, federal mandates, and third-party system integrations.
- Extensive experience planning, coordinating, and executing statewide Fiscal Year-End activities, including reconciliations, system configuration, validation, scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
- Experience providing Level 2 Service Desk support, advanced troubleshooting, ticket management, system configuration, and vendor coordination within ITIL-based service management environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices supporting IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Major Incident Management (MIM), Disaster Recovery, and enterprise operational support.
- Experience participating in Disaster Recovery testing, system upgrade validation, executive presentations, SOC-1 audits, compliance reviews, and open records requests.
- Proven knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and experience ensuring digital products and documentation comply with accessibility and usability requirements.
- Extensive experience interpreting contractual requirements, managing vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, service agreements, and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities, ensuring data integrity, enforcing security controls, and delivering projects within established timelines and milestones.
- Experience supporting and configuring additional PeopleSoft FSCM modules, including Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Purchasing/eProcurement, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, Travel & Expense, Cash Receipts, and Project Costing.
- Extensive experience supporting State of Texas CAPPS Financials environments, including functional project management, executive reporting, audit support, strategic planning, and statewide ERP operations.
