Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Network Engineer/Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability across diverse IT infrastructure environments. Your expertise will support our mission to provide seamless communication services and robust network security.

Duties

Order, procure and deploy network access services, including network, data, SaaS, security, IOT solutions

· Manage relationships with Service Providers and 3rd party vendors related to customer services

· Configure, Install and Implement Network, Data, Security, and SaaS solutions

· Dedicated technical pre and post sales lead resource role for products and technologies, including network, network security, and hardware

· Provide ongoing customer support, uncover customer opportunities, interact with clients to provide best customer solutions

· Provide both internal and external technical guidance during the and assist in pre-sales discussions

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of related experience in technical roles with network, SaaS and cloud background.
  • Managed Network Services professional with strong technical services solution mindset .
  • Experience engaging with senior level executives as well at IT and network admins.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Network, Security, Cloud, Data, and Voice services stack.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills necessary.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices including IDS/IPS systems, SSO implementation, encryption standards like SSL/TLS; vulnerability assessment expertise.
  • Ability to communicate at a technical and customer level with strong organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Candidate must have a passion for technology and problem solving. Contagious enthusiasm for and a desire to continuously learn new technology required with ongoing industry training and certification., * Technical Degree or equivalent experience and certification(s) required.
  • Desired
  • Engineering Degree and/or Advanced Industry Certification - Desired
  • Certifications in Networking (CCNA, CompTIA, JNCIA, ACMA, VCTA-NV, etc.)
  • Certifications in UC and SaaS technologies (Hosted Voice, Microsoft Office 365/ Exchange, Collaboration tools for Business (Teams, Elevate, Zoom, etc.)
  • Certifications in Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, Google, Microsoft, other)

· A PLUS - Certifications in information security (CISSP, CCSP, CISM, and/or CCSK)

o Fortinet NSE certifications Highly Preferred
