Job description
As an MSP System Admin/ Network Admin II, you own the technical health of assigned small-to-midsize business clients - running proactive audits and alignments, delivering onboarding and infrastructure projects, and standardizing environments to our best practices. You'll work hands-on across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, virtualization, and networking, automating repetitive work with PowerShell. We hire for fit and trajectory and invest in your growth, training, and certifications., * Serve as the technical expert for assigned clients, keeping documentation and environments aligned to Thriveon best practices.
- Deliver onboarding, offboarding, and infrastructure projects on time and within scope.
- Understand client change requests, business impact, resolving client satisfaction and root cause.
- Run proactive audits and alignment work that prevent issues before they become tickets.
- Script and automate repetitive work.
- Document changes in real time and contribute improvements to our standards in our continuous-improvement meetings.
- Implement remotely, on site, and after hours as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date Time Entries and Expenses for billing and accounting purposes.
- Participate in daily huddles, weekly meetings, and on call rotation.
- Complete 1 hour of continuing education per week to improve job skills.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a systems/infrastructure role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Server and network infrastructure (firewalls, switching, VLANs)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation
- Experience with Microsoft Intune / endpoint management
- Knowledge of small to mid-size business IT systems.
- Detailed oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Effectively communicate in a non-technical way to clients.
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
