- T5 Staff Software Engineer: 12 Years with Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) in related field of study, 10 Years with Master's degree in STEM, 08 Years with PhD in STEM.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Experience leading requirements, architecture, design, integration, and verification of complex, software-intensive, safety-critical systems using MBSE methods (minimum 2 years MBSE experience).
- Experience with Agile software development in cross-functional Scrum teams, including defining and managing software/system requirements, performing SCFTA and/or safety analyses, and integrating multiple engineering disciplines and suppliers on a DoD program (preferably with USAF Nuclear Surety and/or cyber certification exposure).
Must have 5+ years of Flight Software experience for hypersonic systems, flight systems, missiles, etc. Must have 2+ years of experience leading technical teams
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- Proficient with DOORS and Cameo (or similar MBSE/SysML tools), with demonstrated ability to write, decompose, and manage system and software requirements and models; OMG SysML Model Builder Fundamental Certification is a plus.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence) supporting Agile planning, backlog management, and technical documentation across multiple IPTs and suppliers.
- Experience with USAF Nuclear Surety (AFMAN 91-119) and/or cyber certification for command and launch or other nuclear-related systems, including delivery of software products for flight/IFC certification and support to system buildup and flight tests.
- Experience applying Model-Based Product Line Engineering concepts to software-intensive systems, and evaluating technical risks and trade-offs to develop and present solution options to management and customer stakeholders.
Benefits & conditions
Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
