Data Center Technician/ Field Technician

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot advanced Direct Digital Control (DDC) building automation systems at customer sites
• Optimize existing customer systems, perform upgrades, and ensure seamless equipment integration
• Serve as the primary local technical contact and field leader for system-related issues
• Deliver turnkey project execution for small to medium-sized projects
• Load, configure, and validate software, trends, alarms, and reporting functions
• Ensure all control systems, sensors, and software perform to specification
• Provide comprehensive, site-specific training to system owners and operators
• Communicate project status and technical details clearly to customers and internal teams
• Manage time effectively to exceed customer expectations
• Mentor and assist in the development of less experienced field engineers

• Associate's degree (technical field preferred)
• Proven experience commissioning, installing, or maintaining building automation or DDC systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Comfortable using ladders and working on-site
• Willingness to work standard hours with up to 10 hours of overtime per week
