We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled ERP System Specialist & Information System Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and overall information technology infrastructure. As a key member of our DOT team, you will leverage your expertise in systems engineering, system implantation, software administration, and network architecture to support seamless operations across the organization. Your proactive approach and technical prowess will empower us to achieve operational excellence and scalable growth., The ERP System Specialist and Information Systems Manager is responsible for administering, optimizing, and supporting the organization's enterprise resource planning system while also leading broader information systems strategy, infrastructure, security, and technology operations. This role partners with leadership and department users to improve business processes, ensure reliable systems performance, protect company data, and deliver technology solutions that support operational efficiency and growth., · Administer, maintain, and optimize the company's ERP platform, including configuration, user access, workflows, reporting, and system performance.
· Analyze business processes across departments and recommend ERP or information system improvements to increase accuracy, visibility, and efficiency.
· Lead ERP implementation, enhancement, integration, upgrade, and troubleshooting projects in coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
· Provide technical support, training, documentation, and guidance to ERP and information system users.
· Manage information systems infrastructure, including applications, databases, servers, networks, backups, and related technology resources.
· Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, security controls, disaster recovery plans, and data governance practices.
· Ensure system availability, data integrity, cybersecurity awareness, and compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
· Evaluate, select, and coordinate technology vendors, consultants, software providers, and service partners.
· Prepare reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support management decision-making and departmental operations.
· Supervise, coordinate, or provide direction to IT staff, contractors, or support resources as assigned.
· Manage technology projects, priorities, budgets, timelines, and documentation to ensure successful delivery.
· Stay current on ERP functionality, information systems trends, cybersecurity best practices, and emerging technologies that may benefit the organization.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This role is generally performed in an office or business operations environment and may require occasional work outside normal business hours to support system upgrades, maintenance, outages, or urgent operational needs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess or be able to quickly establish the following qualifications:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, or information systems operations.
· Strong understanding of ERP modules, business workflows, reporting, data management, and system integration concepts.
· Experience troubleshooting application, database, network, hardware, and user access issues.
· Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, backup and recovery processes, access controls, and IT best practices.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and user requests in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, training, and documentation skills.
· Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical users., Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Core competencies include: ERP administration and process improvement, information systems leadership and strategic planning, data integrity, reporting, and analytics, cybersecurity and risk awareness, vendor and project management, user support, training, and documentation, cross-functional collaboration and business communication, and continuous improvement mindset.
