Job description
- Flight test data processing to include best bit selection of raw telemetry data and data quality checks
- System performance assessment, requirements analysis, verification and validation, design, development, and integration
- Create technical reports and present metric reports
- Interface with internal and external customers
This requisition may be filled at either the Associate Systems Engineer level (T-01) or Systems Engineer level (T-02).
Requirements

Must be a US Citizen with an at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years

Must have a current or ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

1 year of experience with DOORS or CAMEO

Experience with Systems Engineering Principles or understanding of the Systems Engineering V

Understanding of functional requirement development, requirements analysis, functional analysis, trades, and architecture definition

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 1 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar

ICBM Experience

Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira

Advanced use of standard Microsoft Office products to include development tools

Experience with modern (Model Based System Engineering) MBSE principles and SysML Modeling Language

Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last 6 years

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
