Job description

The Sr IT Director is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions within the organization. This includes ensuring that technology supports the organization's business objectives, drives innovation, and enhances operational efficiency. This leadership role is integral to shaping the organization's technology vision, strategy, and culture., * Develop and implement the IT strategy to align with the organization's business goals.

  • Partner with senior leadership to define the company's technology vision and roadmap to support manufacturing, supply chain, finance, commercial and corporate functions
  • Oversee the IT Operations Manager to ensure compliance with SLAs and attainment of helpdesk-related KPIs
  • Develop end user policies to safeguard the company and ensure appropriate use of IT systems by all employees
  • Act as a liaison between IT and other business units to understand their needs and provide technological solutions
  • Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio related to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems. Review hardware and software acquisitions and maintenance contracts. Define and communicate corporate plans, policies, and standards for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI, advanced analytics, and process improvement
  • Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Develop system contingency plan to ensure system availability for all plants in the event of catastrophic interruptions
  • Maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while supporting production team initiatives and robust cybersecurity measures
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the organization's technological capabilities
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with IT service providers and vendors
  • Works in a safe manner consistent with Company policies and regulations
  • Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and engineering, preferably a management degree with an engineering degree in Computer Science and Information Technology;
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, and digital transformation
  • Experience with ERP platforms, cloud technologies, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST/CIS), and manufacturing systems
  • Able to develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Excellent management, coordination and organization skills
  • Good communication skills; able to relay information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage and lead employees of the department and be a team player
  • Excellent decision-making abilities
  • A flair for business and ability to make future plans for the company by regarding the current situations
  • A good balance of technical managerial skills
  • Good problem solving and analyzation skills
