Job description
As an Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, enhancement, implementation, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications and related business processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to develop scalable solutions, optimize system performance, support financial operations, and ensure the reliability of critical enterprise financial systems. This role requires strong expertise in Oracle EBS Financials, PL/SQL development, integrations, and application support within a complex enterprise environment., * Analyze, design, develop, optimize, and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations for Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules
- Support and enhance Oracle Financial modules including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and related custom applications
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects
- Create and modify reports, forms, and business intelligence solutions using Oracle development tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, system defects, data discrepancies, and performance challenges
- Develop and support interfaces, APIs, web services, and file-based integrations with external systems
- Coordinate system updates, enhancements, and deployments with database and infrastructure teams
- Ensure adherence to secure coding standards, change management processes, and IT governance requirements
- Participate in project planning, system testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities
- Collaborate with database administrators, system administrators, and technical teams to maintain stable and high-performing environments
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, enhancements, processes, and integrations
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to internal teams and stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong experience developing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications, preferably Oracle EBS R12
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Financial modules including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle development tools such as TOAD, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher
- Experience designing and supporting application integrations using APIs, web services, and file-based interfaces
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to Oracle applications and data processes
- Experience with data migration, system enhancements, and application upgrades
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, change management, and IT governance standards
- Ability to work closely with business users to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and application support processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Experience supporting complex enterprise financial systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with Oracle database administration concepts and performance optimization (preferred)
- Experience with enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions (preferred)
- Strong documentation and knowledge transfer experience (preferred)
