Job description

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to drive delivery across our Product & Supply Chain business tower but has the curiousity to work in all areas of Global Technology at UA. As a lead in our Global Technology project management team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering work against our Technology Roadmaps. You will flex between many roles such as Program Manager, Scrum Master, Project Manager, Vendor Manager, and Business Relationship Manager to get work across the finish line.

We need someone who can develop strategies to achieve organizational goals. You are confident leading stakeholders through process improvement discussions or challenging retros. Our Program Manager will build expertise in your Business Tower, measuring and understanding the organization's abilities and constraints to inform their Technology Roadmaps. Our project stakeholders and business leaders require a great communicator in this role, someone able to illustrate the state of a program to an Under Armour executive but can also build dashboards and direct critical decisions and discussions. You will coach teammates from cross functional teams, share lessons learned and thought leadership to elevate their performance, and most importantly love leading and serving your teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

You lead the planning and implementation of multiple project plans and programs while being accountable for ensuring key stakeholder alignment on project scope, budget, resource plan, key milestone management, and risk management.

You are responsible for change management and communication plans throughout the program's lifecycle.

You own regular status reporting and communications with internal and external teams UA executives for your programs.

You indirectly lead a team of internal and external project management professionals which requires recruiting, training, and developing teammates to drive a high-performance team.

You contribute thought leadership to the greater UA technology project management team and mentor junior project managers.

You manage third-party vendor contracts and work efforts under several Global Technology workstreams.

You direct activities across multiple cross-functional teams, and proactively identify and manage dependencies across them.

You escalate issues and impacts to delivery timelines and work proactively with teams to support the project execution.

You track Delivery metrics for your project teams and champion lessons learned to identify opportunities to tune existing processes to raise the quality bar and deliver faster.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in leading a small team; including recruiting and developing the staff

Demonstrated excellence in developing program-level roadmaps and transparent reporting to executive stakeholders.

Acute attention to detail and exemplary communication & organization skills.

Ability to plan and deliver programs in a blended Agile and more traditional Waterfall development environments.

Flexibility to help teams execute without perfect process or overbearing checklists.

Education And / Or Experience

10 years in operational and/or technical project management roles managing programs through cross-functional teams while delivering complex technology projects in a fast-paced environment.

Experience delivering Enterprise Software to global stakeholders, desired experience in Product & Supply chain organizations but not required.
