Job description

The Data and Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This role manages data quality, monitors compliance processes, supports audits, and helps maintain effective governance practices., · Collect, validate, analyze, and maintain organizational data.

· Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.

· Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

· Develop and maintain data management procedures and compliance documentation.

· Conduct regular data quality reviews and compliance audits.

· Prepare reports, dashboards, and compliance metrics for management.

· Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.

· Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

· Train staff on data management standards and compliance requirements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in information systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Compliance, Human Services or a related field.

· 2-5 years of experience in data management, compliance, audit, or a related role.

· Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

· Experience with data governance frameworks.

· Knowledge of regulatory standards and risk management.

· Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or database systems.

· Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Professional certifications in compliance, auditing, or data management are an advantage.

Contingency:

Must complete the Results-Oriented Management and Accountability ROMA implementer training within the 1st year of employment.
