Job description
As a Senior AI & Cloud Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and modernization of mission-critical enterprise platforms with a focus on cloud transformation, distributed systems, and AI-driven engineering practices. You will work closely with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and operations teams to build scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions that support high-volume business operations. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, full-stack development, AI technologies, and enterprise application architecture, along with the ability to mentor teams and drive strategic technology initiatives., * Lead the design, development, and support of large-scale distributed platforms and enterprise applications
- Facilitate technical discussions and drive solution design aligned with business objectives and technology strategy
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor teams on AI, cloud, and software engineering best practices
- Collaborate with business, technology, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and gaps, and develop mitigation strategies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and time-to-market
- Design and implement cloud-native applications and modernization strategies
- Support AI-led development lifecycle initiatives and adoption of agentic AI technologies
- Develop and maintain mission-critical services with high availability and operational excellence
- Integrate enterprise applications with APIs, messaging platforms, BPM systems, and cloud services
- Utilize telemetry, monitoring, and performance metrics to optimize platform reliability and performance
- Participate in Agile planning, release management, and software delivery activities
- Support production environments and complex troubleshooting efforts

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of software development experience on large-scale enterprise platforms
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex projects using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile
- Strong experience with distributed systems and cloud-based application development
- Full-stack development expertise using .NET Framework, C#, .NET Core, Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, and PrimeNG
- Experience integrating SOAP and REST-based services
- Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Experience working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as Aerospike
- Knowledge of application integration with BPM platforms such as Appian
- Expertise with messaging technologies including IBM MQ and Kafka
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tools, frameworks, and AI-driven development practices
- Experience managing and supporting mission-critical production services
- Strong knowledge of telemetry, monitoring, and operational excellence practices
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, architecture patterns, frameworks, and industry trends
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong mentoring and technical leadership capabilities
- Experience in financial services, brokerage platforms, or related domains (preferred)
- Knowledge of margins, options expiration, futures, pledged asset loans, and trading operations (preferred)
- Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments (preferred)
- Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives (preferred)
