Job description

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting secure payment applications that are critical to business operations. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions., * Design, develop, test, and implement new features and functionality for secure payment applications.

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot .
  • Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX teams, and fellow engineers to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Support Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs and integrating with external systems.
  • Knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP-based applications, and data formats including XML and JSON .
  • Experience working with databases, storage technologies, and RHEL/Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile development tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Artifactory, and Confluence .
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
  • Prior experience supporting financial services or payment processing applications.
