Computer Science / IT / Cybersecurity Adjuncts (2026-2027)

TThe Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for potential part-time or adjunct faculty openings in the following subject areas: Computer Programming Languages (Java) (on-campus), Data Structures, Digital Logic, Database Systems, Digital Forensics, Network Security, Web Security, and Game Design and Development.

This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check. Candidates claiming Veterans Preference must attach a copy of their DD-214 as a part of the online application process., Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Information Technology or a Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field that includes a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Computer Science, or Information Technology. All degrees must come from regionally accredited institutions., Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching. For positions that may include online teaching, candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to successfully structure and implement a distance-education-based course., These positions are especially suited for candidates who hold a terminal degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or who have completed a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate coursework in a relevant Computer Science or Information Technology field.
