Job description

  • Design and manage Oracle OCI environments including database middleware and infrastructure components
  • Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services
  • Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server and related technologies
  • Plan and execute database upgrades migrations and conversions
  • Implement and manage backup recovery and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools
  • Ensure high availability disaster recovery and data protection
  • Monitor and optimize database performance implementing tuning recommendations
  • Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application deployment
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues providing timely support
  • Document and train on best practices for Oracle OCI environment management

Requirements

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle expert with the following skills/competencies:
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture
  • Ability to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with Oracle OEM Cloud Control for monitoring and management
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
  • In-depth knowledge of database security best practices
  • Expertise in performance tuning and optimization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to provide 24/7 support and troubleshoot critical issues, * Oracle grid control to include version 13c, Required 7 Years
  • Oracle weblogic 12c/fusion middleware, Highly desired 7 Years
  • Oracle apex administration and support , Required 5 Years
  • Oracle db migration from solaris to linux (database 12c/11g), Required 10 Years
  • Oracle database backup/restore/rman/dataguard, Required 10 Years
  • Oracle performance tuning/database maintenance/management, Required 10 Years
  • On-call production support, Required 10 Years
  • Oracle cloud setup/AWS/Azure administration, Desired 3 Years
  • Windows/sql server/IIS administration, Highly desired 5 Years
  • Oracle database 19c and above, Required

Desirable Skills:

  • Certification in Oracle technologies such as OCIP OCP or OCE
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration
