Job description
- Initiates/maintains clinical, non-clinical and surgical electronic schedules for physicians and patients.
- Coordinates with clinical supervisors to optimize scheduling system utility.
- Develops new functions and innovative uses of system and installs system upgrades, providing current manuals and training/explanations to users.
- Generates reports and master schedules for physicians, providers, patients and staff, assisting with data analysis as needed.
- Coordinates scheduling with billing IDX dictionaries, acting as liaison with departments clinical/billing supervisors.
- Troubleshoots system for all users, conducting audits to maintain effective use of systems.
- Participates in department/university meetings to ensure scheduling system meets needs and objectives established.
- May supervise assigned staff.

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
