Job description
As a Principal Clinical System Lead at ICON, you will provide strategic leadership and direction in the design, development, and implementation of clinical systems and technologies within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
What You Will Do:
You will oversee scientific operations workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations., * Leading the design, implementation, and management of clinical trial systems and databases.
- Providing expertise in clinical data management and technology solutions to support trial operations.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure system requirements are met and maintained.
- Developing and implementing data standards and quality control processes to ensure data integrity.
- Providing guidance and support to project teams on system-related issues and troubleshooting as needed., * Various annual leave entitlements

Requirements
You will have solid scientific operations experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team., * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in clinical data management, including expertise in clinical trial systems and databases.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and projects.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to clinical data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 15%)
