Job description

We are seeking an IT Specialist who can provide day-to-day technical support for employees while also reviewing software changes before they are deployed to production. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technology problems, working directly with users, and ensuring software releases meet quality and security standards., IT Support

  • Provide technical support for computers, software, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity issues.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests in a timely manner.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
  • Support Microsoft 365, email systems, and other business applications.
  • Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.

Software & Change Review

  • Review developer code and application changes before deployment to production.
  • Verify that changes follow established coding, security, and documentation standards.
  • Confirm appropriate testing has been completed.
  • Identify potential issues, risks, or performance concerns.
  • Coordinate with developers to resolve findings prior to release.
  • Participate in release management and change approval processes.
  • Assist with production deployments and post-deployment validation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, software development, quality assurance, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to understand and review application code in one or more programming languages.
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, and user account management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities., * Experience working in a software development environment.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and change management procedures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing.
  • Technical certifications are a plus but not required.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can support end users, communicate effectively with developers, and help ensure that software changes are ready for production. We value practical experience, technical aptitude, and a willingness to learn over specific degrees or certifications.
