Job description

The purpose of this role is to provide infrastructure and end user support. This position is responsible for acting as the first level of support for end users. Identify & resolve issues or obtain necessary resources for resolution. Update, repair, or replace hardware and software. Provide excellent customer service that can consist of answering questions, giving advice, or documentation to assist in solving technical issues., * Track and monitor IT issues using help desk ticketing software (FreshDesk). Update in a timely manner to document progress or obtain additional information. (30%)

  • Set up and configure PC hardware as needed in an office environment and in a warehouse setting. This can include, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards and mice. Research and apply any necessary registry edits to meet ECFP standards (25%)
  • Create and maintain end user network accounts in different systems. Onboard and provide initial network login training, security training, and MFA (5%)
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and/or install IP desk phones, cell phones, tablets, handheld scanners and printers (laser and thermal) (10%)
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and purchase IT equipment as needed (5%)
  • Install, upgrade, and configure software according to pre-defined specifications and to resolve technical issues in a primarily Microsoft environment. This includes but not limited to, Office O365, TallyWorks, FoxIt, Great Plains, etc (15%)
  • Manage and support user security. Password support in all internal systems (WiFi, internal apps,etc). Administer KnowBe4 security training. Administration and setup for end user accounts for DUO (5%)
  • Perform infrastructure updates and additions including but not limited to switches, cameras, Aps, and network wiring. Support camera setup and administration through Verkada Command software. (5%), * Administration of Office 365 Portal and applicable software
  • Provide guidance on proper equipment use
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures, both for IT team and end-users
  • Performs basic network or Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Occasional work after hours or on weekends as needed
  • Performs other duties and/or assists with special projects as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Desktop and Infrastructure Support
  • Familiarity with Office 365 environment and administration
  • Basic understanding of networking technologies including firewalls, switches, and routers
  • Good knowledge of security and data privacy principles
  • Server or Desktop Level Certifications a plus (MCP or equivalent)
  • Experience with workstation imaging/deployment and MDM a plus, * Can you pass an initial drug screen, as well as participate in periodic random screenings that include THC/marijuana?
  • Familiarity with Office 365 environment and administration.
  • Are you able to work on-site at our location (McMinnville, OR)?

Experience:

  • IT support: 3 years (Required)
  • Network support: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CompTIA Certification or MCP or equivalent (Preferred)
