Job description
A Software Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining a scalable microservices platform. This role is for the Customer Integrations team and will be responsible for enabling third-party client integrations.
The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, will partner with Engineering leaders on building impactful features, collaborate with other tech teams and build projects end-to-end., * Build and maintain highly scalable backend services and APIs that power developer-facing platform capabilities
- Develop secure, well-documented, versioned APIs with a strong emphasis on developer experience, consistency and usability.
- Work on projects from planning to delivery independently.
- Partner with Engineering leaders on ideation and implementation.
- Collaborate across multiple tech teams to develop impactful features.
Requirements
- Professional experience working within software engineering teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- 2+ years of building backend services with common systems languages (Go, Java, Python, C#). Go experience is not a requirement, but candidates must be open to learning and using it.
- Solid understanding of API concepts and designs.
- Understanding of SQL, experience with relational database
- Familiarity with modern web infrastructure components (e.g. caching, serverless, API gateways, etc) and how to manage them.
- Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms, and experience creating and evaluating technical design documents.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI and managing infrastructure assets using IaC tooling such as Terraform.

Base Salary
This is an individual contributor role, internally leveled as IC2.
The annual U.S. base salary range is $125,000-$145,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location, skills, experience, and other job-related factors, which will be discussed during the hiring process.
