Automation Tester

UST is searching for an Automation Tester who will design, develop, and own the end-to-end manual and automated tests for assigned releases.

The opportunity:

• Create and maintain automation suites using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium and REST API frameworks

• Lead and coordinate testing activities for modules, owning quality gates and exit criteria

• Drive in-sprint Agile testing and represent QE in sprint planning, estimation, and risk discussions Actively validate user stories within sprint, ensuring early detection

• Contribute to automation stability, optimization, and best practices

• Use AI assisted testing solutions to accelerate the testing tasks (test generation, smart test selection, failure insights, self healing concepts)

• Define and optimize functional, regression and E2E execution strategies leveraging shared frameworks and cloud platforms

• Mentor A1/A2 engineers, review automation code, and drive QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement

• Must have - 5+ years of experience in performance testing with LoadRunner.

• Must have - Proficiency in Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and diagnostics.

• Must have - Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.).

• Basic to intermediate Linux skills (shell scripting, system monitoring, file management).

• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., C, Python, Bash).

• Understanding of system architecture, cloud computing, and networking fundamentals.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
