Job description
This role is for more than an IT Helpdesk Specialist, this role will work directly with the executive team to help maintain and eventually build on the already existing systems in place. Initially, you will help with everything from organizing reports and databases, managing website and intraweb updates, system maintenance and testing, new user on-boarding and off-boarding, and end user trouble-shooting across multiple systems.
However, this role is also a ground-level opportunity working with the executive team, allowing you to implement your ideas and grow into a high-income senior tech leader as the company grows. So we are also looking for someone with the vision to pioneer our help-desk process, oversee our on-site networking, and evolve our system security environment with the quality needed for a growing financial organization.
This position is full-time based out of our home office in Centennial, CO. This position is initially an on-site position, but a hybrid remote schedule is negotiable. This position will also receive a monthly performance bonus in addition to hourly compensation., * Day-to-day IT support for internal team members
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, login, browser, email, and device issues
- Assist with system administration, including users, groups, email, permissions, and account accesses
- Support employee onboarding/offboarding from a systems and technology standpoint
- Help set up computers, monitors, office phones, printers, workstations, and other office technology
- Assist with basic network, Wi-Fi, hardware, and office technology troubleshooting
- Help research, test, and learn new tools, APIs, automations, and integrations
- Maintain documentation for troubleshooting steps, systems, processes, and internal procedures
- Work with leadership to improve internal technology operations and team efficiency
- Follow proper access, security, and confidentiality practices in a financial services environment
Requirements
- Early-career IT professional with hands-on technical support experience
- Strong problem solver
- Clear communicator who can support both technical and non-technical team members
- Organized, reliable, and able to document issues, fixes, and processes clearly
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple systems and priorities
- Willing to take ownership, ask questions, and continue learning
- Professional and trustworthy when handling company systems, access, and sensitive information
- Interested in growing into a broader IT, systems, automation, and technology operations role
- Comfortable working an in office or hybrid remote schedule
Technical Experience & Preferred Skills:
- IT Helpdesk, desktop support, technical support, or related experience preferred
- Experience troubleshooting computers, browsers, email, logins, and basic software/hardware issues
- Google Admin Console experience is a big plus
- Basic networking, Wi-Fi, printer, workstation, or office technology experience
- WordPress or website update experience is a plus
- Exposure to APIs, automations and middleware integrations is a plus
- Experience supporting a financial services, mortgage, banking, sales, or professional office environment is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to assist with on-site technology needs when required
