Sourced Intelligence is hiring an IT Support Specialist focused on endpoint security to support our secure communications and digital protection operations. This is a junior, in-person role for someone early in their IT career who wants hands-on ownership of a real endpoint fleet. Your core work is provisioning iPhones through Jamf Pro, deploying and managing Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR across endpoints, and serving as the internal point of contact for macOS, network, VPN support, and basic IT troubleshooting. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and a structured growth path. - Provision, configure, and deploy iPhones, Macbooks and other Apple devices using Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager: zero-touch enrollment, configuration profiles, and compliance policies
- Deploy and manage Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR agents across Apple and Windows endpoints: installation, policy configuration, version upgrades, and agent health monitoring
- Triage Cortex XDR alerts and escalate endpoint incidents to senior engineers
- Support our secure communications program: device hardening baselines, MDM compliance enforcement, OS and application patching, and encrypted communications tooling
Internal IT Support
- Provide first-line IT support to the Sourced Intelligence team, with a focus on macOS and iOS endpoints
- Handle account, mailbox, MFA, and access requests in Google Workspace and adjacent platforms
- Set up new-hire MacBooks: baseline configuration, MDM enrollment, XDR agent installation, and onboarding handoff
- Handle internal IT communications: maintenance notices, status updates, and clear how-to guides for staff
- Maintain inventory of company hardware, software licenses, and mobile devices
- Open, document, and track tickets through resolution
- Assist with maintaining IT security compliance across the company
- Support CMMC-compliant systems and processes, including security incident documentation and reporting
Network and VPN Support
- Support the internal network: Wi-Fi, DHCP/DNS, link checks, and general connectivity troubleshooting
- Support GlobalProtect VPN access, enrollment, and troubleshooting for staff
- Build a working knowledge of PAN-OS, GlobalProtect, VLANs, and basic firewall rule logic over your first 6 to 12 months
Professional Conduct
- Represent Sourced Intelligence professionally in every interaction with teammates and clients
- Maintain discretion regarding everything you see and hear in our environment and client environments
- Communicate clearly, in writing and in person, with technical and non-technical teammates
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional IT experience. Internships, military IT/comms experience, SkillBridge placements, and structured IT training programs count
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or equivalent e.g., Cisco CCST, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Jamf Certified Associate)
- Comfort supporting macOS and iOS endpoints, installing software, and resolving common user issues
- Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, an MDM platform: Jamf strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP basics, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and how a packet gets from a laptop to the internet
- Familiarity with at least one of: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar cloud productivity suite
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can explain a problem to a non-technical teammate without making them feel small
- U.S. citizenship required due to CMMC and government contract compliance obligations. Note: Sourced Intelligence does not currently hold or sponsor security clearances
Additional Skillsets
- Jamf certifications (Jamf Certified Tech / Jamf Certified Associate) or hands-on Jamf Pro experience
- Any EDR/XDR exposure: Cortex XDR, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or coursework and lab work
- Any Palo Alto Networks exposure: coursework, lab work, or PCCET / PCNSA certification
- CompTIA Security+ or other security certifications
- Help desk, MSP, or IT internship experience
- Military IT, communications, signals, or cyber background - Sourced Intelligence is veteran-friendly
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, basic scripting (Bash, Python, zsh), or home lab / personal projects you can talk about, * Curious: you want to understand how things work, not just where the button is

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
