Job description
- Provide customer support in installation of IT Hardware/Software to support lab simulation launching kinetic weapons from various platforms.
- Configure IT Hardware and Software in lab to support customer needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as upgrading hardware/software and installing required patches to ensure optimal performance of lab equipment.
- Conduct operational tests on lab equipment to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Conduct required troubleshooting procedures of IT hardware and software to maintain availability of lab equipment.
- Manage account access to lab equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of hardware configurations, troubleshooting steps, and other relevant information.
- Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience with demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems., * US Citizenship
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II (Information Assurance Technical) or higher DOD 8140 under specialty area 45(Security+) within 60 days of start.
- H.S. Diploma or GED
Desirable:
- Experience with Linux
