Noblis is seeking experienced professionals to support the navy's large enterprise networks. These roles will support critical engineering, technical, and programmatic efforts in alignment with PEO Digital, PMW 205, and NIWC Pacific requirements. Team members will work on the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of Navy IT systems, including modernization efforts such as cloud infrastructure and network convergence. Positions require collaboration with government and contractor personnel in a dynamic environment with both CONUS and OCONUS responsibilities.
The Data Center Specialist (Levels III and IV) is responsible for maintaining the operational health, efficiency, and security of The Navy's Large Enterprise Networks data centers. This role involves managing physical and virtual infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with DoD standards for mission-critical IT environments., Oversee data center operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and security compliance.

Support physical installations, including racking, cabling, and power configurations.

Maintain and manage enterprise storage, backup, and virtualization platforms within the data center.

Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive optimization strategies.

Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, including STIGs, RMF, and Zero Trust principles.

Support cloud and hybrid data center integration efforts in alignment with Navy IT modernization initiatives.
Requirements
Level III
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

7+ years of IT professional experience.

Compensation: $86,800 - $135,625
Level IV
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

14+ years (Bachelor's) of relevant professional experience.
(OR Master's Degree and 10+ years)
- Compensation: $105,100 - $164,125

Experience managing large-scale data centers, including physical and virtual infrastructure.

Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and compliance standards.

Must have a Secret clearance.

Must be a US citizen.
Desired Qualifications

Experience with enterprise storage solutions (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage).

Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, or Hyper-V.

Hands-on experience with data center automation tools.

Knowledge of power, cooling, and rack management best practices.
Benefits & conditions
Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
