Job description
Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for software packages
- Applying testing methodologies to validate functionality, performance, and security of software package
- Conducting rigorous testing across multiple environments to support release cycles and ensure system stability
- Utilizing test automation tools and frameworks to streamline regression and functional testing
- Tracking, documenting, and reporting defects using industry-standard defect tracking systems
- Collaborating with developers, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues
- When needed, providing surge support to aid in development efforts
Requirements
- Experience in software quality assurance and test reporting
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience with defect tracking systems such as Jira
- Strong understanding and experience with Java and Python languages
- Ability to work in a secure, fast-paced, and collaborative environment
- Active Secret Clearance, with TS/SCI eligibility
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Experience in testing DoD or federal government platforms
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Eight or more years of experience preferred
